The Eden Formula revolves around a Jurassic Park-esque plot about the synthetic reproduction of dinosaurs through a miraculous scientific formula. Unfortunately, a group of people who work for the huge corporation that sponsored the project have disobeyed the orders of the scientist who invented the formula and have made a gigantic Tyrannosaurus Rex. When the beast is unleashed, havoc quickly follows.

Hidden deep in the industrial district of downtown Los Angeles, Dr. Harrison Parker (Jeff Fahey) has developed the "Eden Formula." This new, revolutionary, cutting edge technology can actually synthetically reproduce virtually any organism. Parker is unaware that his coworkers plan on using his research to create a Tyrannosaurus rex. They lock the prehistoric creature away in a subterranean vault is a

created by the scientists at Calgorin Industries and keep it there withy plans to impress their stockholders.

When a group of industrial spies break into Calgorin Industries to try and steal the formula, they encounter more than they bargained for. Unwittingly they release the monster!

In a race against time, Rhonda Shapton (Dee Wallace Stone), top executive at Calgorin Industries, and Dr. Parker try to stop the rampaging beast from it's killing spree!
