How to Find a Movie

By Genre / Category
If you're looking for movies in a particular genre or category, use the Film Collection links in the right column to select the category you are interested in.

By Title
If you know the title of the movie you are looking for, you can browse all of our movies in alphabetical order on our All Films (A-Z) page (a link is also available in the right column).

We feature a new movie each day on our home page, so come back often to see our featured film of the day.

How to Purchase a Movie

Once you've found the movie you would like to purchase, select one of the available purchasing options. These options will vary from title to title, but here are all the possible options you will see:

Watch it Now

This option allows you to watch the movie immediately on your PC using Windows Media Player.

You will have the option to select a rental period/license of 1 day, 1 week or unlimited (unlimited gives you access to the movie for as long as our license allows us to broadcast it). The price will vary depending on which rental period/license you select. Once the rental period expires, you will no longer have access to the movie, but you can renew the rental if needed.

Requirements:

If you're not sure if this option will work for you, we invite you to visit our
Free Movies page where you can try it out for free.

Buy DVD

This option allows you to order the movie on a DVD, complete with cover art, photo galleries, behind the scenes, and/or trailers, if available. The DVD will be shipped to you by standard mail. This is a good option for those who do not have the required hardware or software for our other purchasing options.

Burn to DVD

This option is still in the development phases, but soon you will be able to download a movie in a format for burning to a DVD at home. This will give you quicker access to your movies (rather than ordering by mail) and you'll be able to watch your movies anywhere you have a DVD player, whether it's on your home entertainment system, on your computer/laptop or in the car.

Requirements:

  • DVD burner
  • DVD burning software
  • High-speed Internet connection

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

I closed Windows Media Player before the movie was over. How do I get back?

Check your e-mail for a receipt from WebMovieNow. Click on the invoice link in the receipt. Once the invoice opens (you may need to login first) click on the blue link at the bottom to access your movie.

If you never received the e-mail receipt or lost it, you can always access your movies through the My Account link on our web site.

I receive the message "Download Expired" when trying to access my movie.

This means you have reached the end of your rental period/license. If you would like to renew your license, login to the My Account page. In the right column under Order History, click on the movie title you would like to renew. Select a rental period/license and continue through the checkout process.

If you believe you are receiving the "Download Expired" message in error, please contact us with your order # and we will investigate the issue further.
